Blended Learning Instructional Model

During the 2020-2021 School Year, beginning on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 1ST, students and families that select Blended Learning will attend school in-person for 2 consecutive days during each 6 day cycle.

Our QHST Freshman students will attend school during days identified for Group A.

Our QHST Sophomore & a group of Senior students will attend school during days identified for Group B.

Our QHST Junior & a group of Senior students will attend school during days identified for Group C.

Students & families that select full Remote Learning (Group D) will not attend school in-person and will participate in Remote Learning 5 days per week.

Want to Choose Fully Remote Learning? Fill Out This Form.

At any time of year, for any reason, you can choose fully remote learning for your child. This means they would learn 100% remotely (all online, from home). Remote learning includes live interaction with teachers every day, and every class includes live instruction.

  • To choose fully remote learning for your child, fill out and submit this form.

  • If you have difficulties completing this form online, call 311.

Changing Preferences from Fully Remote to Blended Learning

Blended Learning Opt-In Period: November 2 – 15, 2020

Fully remote families now have the option to opt-in to blended learning, meaning that students will learn in the school building for part of the week, and remotely at home the rest of the week. From Monday, November 2 through Sunday, November 15, families will have the option to complete the Learning Preference Survey Form (above) indicating their wish to change learning preferences. Students who change from remote to blended will begin in-person between the weeks of November 30 and December 7, and will be informed by their school their start date and schedule. Schools will make every effort to accommodate these requests based on programming and space capacity.

As always, we are grateful for your partnership in your child’s education. We remain focused on delivering a strong, supportive, engaging learning experience for your student, no matter where they are learning.
